Archaeological Conference 2012

Rathcroghan is an important archaeological landscape in the west of Ireland where mythical and historical landscapes meet. This conference will highlight the important archaeological techniques used in uncovering the mysteries of this enigmatic region. There will also be a number of presentations on the archaeological work carried out at other Royal sites, and talks by those involved in new and exciting Discovery Programme projects.

Regular Events in Tulsk

• Every Thursday Morning: Cruachan Crafters 10am to midday in Cruachan Aí

• Second Wednesday each month: Writers Club in Cruachan Ai, 10am to 12.

Celtic Fire Festivals

February 1^st – Imbolg,  April 30^th -  Bealtaine,  August 1^st -  Lughnasadh  &  October 31^st -  Samhain.

Cruachan Aí operate a programme of events around each ancient Irish Celtic Fire Festival, always including informative talks, classes and workshops, kid’s activities, and a firelight procession to the top of Rathcroghan ceremonial mound, echoing the footsteps of our ancestors.

Adult Education Programme

At least 2 events every month, for you to try evening classes or a workshop:

• Self development workshops
• Educational lectures and presentations

Offers for 2011 will include Dry Stone Walling, Traditional Weaving, Celtic Warrior Woman, Exploring Archaeology, Creative Writing, Neolithic trails, and Medieval Weekend deals – with the great value packages catering for your weekend food, tuition, transport, and accommodation!

Cruachan Ai Venue for Hire, Tulsk

Cruachan Aí Heritage Centre, in Tulsk, is available for all your room and venue hire needs. With great value rates, lovely on-site café for all your catering needs, and a convenient and accessible location (junction of the N5 and the N61).  Hourly Room Hire is available for just €10 per hour, half day is €40, and a full day only €70.
